Saved by the Spear

masterofninjutsu:

The ninja was on the hunt for material through a forest, per usual. When Edge wasn’t training, he was hunting or gathering items for something or another. He might have bitten off more than he could chew when he challenged this beast. He had fended off Behemoths in the past many times, but this was not one of his best days and this Kaiser Behemoth seemed to be getting the better of him. He kept his entire focus on the fight until…

Was that a woman running through the trees? Or was he just seeing things? Sadly for him he got too distracted by it and the creature was able to deal a devastating blow right to his head, making him go flying into a tree and knocking him out cold.

The pulsian made not a single sound when she simply squated down, resting upon a top branch. It was not her kind of style to ambush a behemoth like this and it was not her cup of tea to climb up trees either. But she had followed that quite odd looking male ealier - in a rapid pace. Trees kinda had that requirements - A tall female, who owned an indeed well-trained figurine, but not only that. Right, slender fingers had coiled around the staff of a crimson, massive lance, weighting it gently, whilst keeping a almost perfect balance.

The dragoon was obviously watching - weightning her options. A King Behemoth was…possibly a challenge. It was nessesary to strike him down with one single blow. Otherwise, she would need to put some effort in the fight… A sneer, mocking smirk sprawled across her pale ruddy lips as the woman errected her proud being softly upward. Sandaled feet would balance her stance, shortly ere the dragoon hoped of her watching place. Whilst landing upon a lower position, the woman’s eyes followed the restless beast, which had just knocked his victim aside. Time to act.

HEYA,UGLYASS!

It was probably not her kind of style…but that male needed help if he wanted to stay in one piece. A growl,a loud snarl annnnnnd….there it was. His ugly head verted upwards, glaring toward her own very being.

Aye…Ah was talkin’ to you, sweetheart. Pick’ someone of yer own size!“

The huntress’ head dipped merely aside as that beast stormed onward. Time to strike…no? Whilst her feet still rested upon the branch, Fang’s right plus her lance would hoist,as she brought the heavy weapon into position. She had the perfect trowing angle and would hit that Behemoth right between the coal black eyes. Closer…that thing would just have to come a lil’ closer.
